Following our drive through the rolling hills and fields of the classic English countryside we will arrive in the city of Oxford. World famous for its university - the oldest in the English speaking world having been founded in the 11th century, Oxford is a delight to visit. Stunning architecture, fascinating history, a unique academic atmosphere and environment, Oxford has something for everyone. We'll take you on a walking tour of Oxford to see its most wonderful colleges, gardens, alleys, pubs, gargoyles. Why not join us for a unique tour of Christchurch and walk with us through the heart of this ancient building before we head to the colleges spectacular dining hall, chosen as a key location in the Harry Potter films.
From Oxford we head towards Stratford upon Avon through the tranquil beauty of The Cotswolds.
Set in the beautiful countryside of Warwickshire, on the banks of the River Avon, Stratford is one of Britain's major tourist destinations. We'll take a walking tour and visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare. You'll then be free to explore this charming market town with its quaint shops, restaurants and cafes.
