Half day tour of Glasgow
Glasgow is a vibrant and beautiful Victorian city sitting on the River Clyde. Our tour could take in the main sites including the City Chambers and George Square at the very heart of the city. We could then go out past Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and afterwards to Glasgow University (founded 1451) where can be found the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery and the Mackintosh House designed by the famous Glasgow architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh and containing designs by him and his wife, Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. You could even have afternoon tea in the Willow Tea Rooms.Other locations could include Glasgow Green and the People’s Palace and a visit to Glasgow Cathedral.
